This design was based on a silly painting and drawing I made during my residency with Mothership in Brooklyn, NYC.

I had spent some time a month before in Mexico and was lucky enough to experience their festival 'Día De Los Muertos' - Day of the Dead. It gave me time to reflect on the connection I try to keep with my dead relatives and friends, which is a little but not an ideal amount. Just after I had made it my last Nana passed away, LINDA HAND : ) now say that in an Irish accent : ) I missed my flight to Colombia and returned home early to say my goodbyes. That is why this design for me is about grief and finding ways to remember our loved ones, who are a few steps ahead.
